Funny thing though, they actually DID bring him over to the 616verse, but while just most fans hated him, he was universally loathed, because instead of being a skater stereotype who dressed silly, he was an outright racial caricature, complete with making him a gangsta rapper cliché. They had to change his name to 'The Spike' instead of just Spyke to avoid nuking the original's already small fanbase.
